Many houses in Fish House were shown on postcards.  The Smith house is shown on the postcard at left.  It was a beautiful house that was probably built by James Henry Smith, who was the proprietor of a local lumber mill. Supposedly the house was taken down and moved around 1929.  It's "new" location has not been determined.
